Armina N. Domingue, Co-Founder

Armina Domingue is the founder and CEO of Candor Consulting Firm. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to help them live purposeful and joy-filled lives. Armina believes in creating a working partnership with clients, leaning on their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. She knows how to identify the aspects of an individual’s life that impacts their well-being including physical health, support systems, work or school environment, and faith/spirituality. 

Over the past twenty years, Armina has supported individuals and families as a therapist, program manager, clinical director, supervisor, and clinical coach. She has worked at community mental health centers, schools, child and family agencies, mental health advocacy establishments, managed care organizations, and private practices. Armina utilizes a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, behavior modification, mindfulness and relaxation. She has extensive training in the treatment of childhood trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder using evidence-based modalities such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Armina holds a master’s degree in social work from Adelphi University.

Armina offers Individual therapy, Family therapy, Marriage therapy, and Executive coaching.
